Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Horo Remedy (hororemedy.com, "the service") is provided by Horo Remedy ("we", "us"). These terms apply to anyone who visits the site or creates an account. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Delivery Policy.

2. The service, and what it is not

The service computes Vedic astrology (Jyotish) birth charts from the birth details you enter and offers written interpretations, some of which are generated by artificial intelligence. Jyotish is a tradition and a matter of belief, not established science. Readings, predictions and suggested remedies are offered for guidance and personal reflection only.

  • Nothing on the service is medical, psychological, legal, financial or career advice, and it must not be used in place of advice from a qualified professional. Never delay or stop medical treatment because of anything you read here.
  • We do not guarantee any outcome — in marriage, health, education, career, money or anything else — and no remedy is promised to cure, prevent or change anything.
  • AI-generated text can be wrong or incomplete. The computed chart data (positions, daśās, strengths) is calculated from your inputs; its accuracy depends on the birth date, time and place you provide.
  • We do not sell gemstones, yantras or other physical remedies. If you choose to buy such items elsewhere, that is between you and the seller.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account, or use it with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Keep your password (and, if you turn it on, your two-factor authenticator) to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. Only enter another person's birth details if you are entitled to — with their consent, or as the parent or guardian of a child. You may delete your account at any time from the Your Account page.

4. Plans, prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) on the Plans page and on the Your Account page, and the price shown when you pay is the price you are charged. We are not registered under GST, so no GST is added. Your bank may charge its own fees (for example, on an international card); those are outside our control.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking password.
  • Every purchase is a one-time payment. Nothing renews or charges you again automatically. The Pro plan gives one year of access from the date of payment. Lifetime and Astrologer plans do not expire for as long as the service is operated and your account exists. AI request packs, and the requests included with the Astrologer plan, do not expire while your account exists.
  • Plan limits (number of charts, AI requests per day and similar) are described on the Plans page. We may change prices and plan contents for future purchases; a change never reduces what you have already paid for during the period you paid for it.
  • You receive a numbered receipt for every payment, on your Your Account page and by email.

5. Refunds and cancellation

You may get a full refund within 7 days of payment if you have not used the purchase, and always for duplicate charges, failed payments and faults on our side — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the details.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to harass or deceive anyone, to enter someone's birth details without their consent, to probe or disrupt our systems, to scrape the service in bulk, or to resell access or generated content as your own service without our written permission. We may suspend or close an account that does this; if we close an account for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any paid plan.

7. Consultations

The "Talk to an astrologer" form only passes your request on. Any consultation, and any fee for it, is agreed separately and directly before it takes place.

8. Content and intellectual property

The site, its software, design and written material belong to us. The charts and readings generated for you are yours to keep and use personally. You keep ownership of the birth details and questions you enter, and allow us to process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate but provide it "as is", and it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems with our providers. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on a reading, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change, and we will highlight material changes on this page. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.

11. Law, disputes and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems are quickly fixed. Complaints can be sent to our Grievance Officer; we acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. Subject to your rights to approach a consumer commission, the courts at the place of our registered office have jurisdiction.
